     Saturday morning brought us into Manhattan, with a flight that landed early, a quick taxi into the city, and a quick check-in at the hotel, we had just enough time to get to the matinee.  “Nice Work If You Can Get It” is a new musical currently in previews, has Gershwin music and lyrics with a romantic comedy storyline.  Matthew Broderick and Kelli O’Hara star with Judy Kaye and Estelle Parsons in supporting roles.  It was a great show and we left tapping our feet and singing. 

     We went back to the hotel for a quick rest and then we were off to see Gore Vidal’s “The Best Man”.  This allstar cast was wonderful and we were both in awe to see so much talent on one stage.  James Earl Jones, Angela Lansbury, Candice Bergen, Eric McCormack, and John Larraquette lived up to their reputations as stars of stage, screen and film.

     Sunday started out with rain and ended with rain, so we decided to see…another show.  “Jesus Christ Superstar” was a very slick and updated production.  We both commented on how the show really hit home being so close to Easter.

     It’s Monday morning and that means work, even though we are in New York.  We will be meeting with vendors and keeping our eye out for what’s new so we can bring you the latest and most up to date products.
